A Successful Outcome

This week I went to see my doctor for my annual check-up. For the past two years I have been struggling with keeping my cholesterol and creatinine numbers from escalating too high. My doctor did prescribe medication for the cholesterol, but I had such uncomfortable side effects, that I stopped taking them. So my doctor told me I need to have a healthy diet. What exactly does that mean? In my case, it means low-fat, low-sugar and lots of raw, fresh food.
